William Sayers, Jr. for Registrar of Voters

I was first nominated for the Office of Registrar of Voters in July of 1990. As 10 years draws to a close there are many new challenges to face the office of Registrar. Continued compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act will cause us to re-evaluate where we place our polling places. The increasing diverse population of Windham will cause us to also re-evaluate the way we deliver our service and the way people access the Registrars Office. To start with, I pledge that I will seek to offer diversity training to all of our employees as part of a continued effort started with the Registrars training program.

The Registrars Office in Windham is still a leader in Windham County and I will continue to educate myself in the ever-changing election laws. With your support and cooperation, this office can continue to deliver quality election services.
